There are two isolated hills on the Woodward
Ranch where "Flower Garden Agates" are found and generally the
irregular-shaped agates are small and suitable for tumbling. I have
found few unusually larger pink & yellow agates. They appear to be
from brecciated rock host and that is the reason for their irregular
shapes. Sometimes, larger to boulder-sized agatized "mudstones" have
been found
from time to time especially the "Agate Point" hill. They're generally
red to brown, sometimes with
yellow, green and light blue colors.
