I know nothing about those Plume agates.
I found a tin can of roughs from deceased Peter Ghitney's
estate and
it had a label of "Lordsburg Agates" on it. There were
some reports
of plume agates somewhere southeast of Lordsburg, but I
haven't been able to verify that information. They appear
to
be a kind of seam nodules with rows of plume inclusions.
The plumes come
in red, orange, yellow, and brown colors. That's it. It's
possible that that they were bought from a Lordsburg Rock
shop that got some from a plume agate mine at Bloody Basin
of Arizona (north of Carefree) or Mexico.
